Summer is right around the corner and one of the things us Mom’s need to think about is swim attire for our kiddos. Last year I was introduced to i play® and have been in love ever since, so I was very excited when they contacted me to review something from their newest line of i play® Ultimate Swim Diapers.
i play® has been perfecting their Ultimate Swim Diapers for the last eighteen years and it shows since this year they won the viewer-voted Cribsie Award (like the Oscars, but for baby brands) for Cutest Swim Diaper in the fashion category. Swim Diapers are not just a matter of preventing embarrassing accidents; they are an important public health issue. 27 states now require or encourage the use of approved swim diapers for diaper-aged children in public schools, and many swim schools across the country recommend the Ultimate Swim Diaper by name.
We received our Ultimate Swim Diaper Set for Little Miss and it was just ADORABLE. It is snug around the waist and legs, with have little ties on each side to adjust the snugness. It features a waterproof layer to prevent leakage, an extra absorbent layer to absorb wetness, and a wickaway liner to draw moisture away from baby’s skin, for ultimate protection and comfort.
I love that the set came with a swim top to protect Baby Miss’s delicate skin from the sun, while still looking ultra-cute. The bottoms fit her perfectly and did not weigh her down when they were submerged in the pool. The set seemed to be very comfortable for her, since she seemed to be able to run, jump, and play without making any signs of discomfort.
Plus, unlike the disposable swim diapers that you get from the store, these are machine washable so she can use them all summer, and since we are a pool-going family, we will get a lot of use out of them.
