Well, I was dreading potty training because it just means that Baby Miss is no longer a baby. She has been showing signs of being ready for quite some time now, by hiding to go number two, telling me immediately while or right after she goes and asking to sit on the potty, but I was still not ready. Then the other night while taking a bath she called out that she wanted to go potty. Now since Little Miss ALWAYS has to get out of the tub to sit on the potty, we assumed Baby Miss wanted to just be like her. So, we allowed her to sit on the potty like her big sister and boy were we shocked when she actually went number two in the potty! So, I think it is time I get over myself and just do what I know needs to be done!
This is my third child to potty train and the three-day potty training system has always worked for me in the past, so I will be doing it again. The system is not easy and takes a lot of patience and time, but I will do this, lol!
The way this system works is that you have to prepare yourself by buying a lot of underware and reward treats, so I went to WalMart today and purchased 20 pairs of underware as well as number one treats (stickers and fun jewelry) and number two treats (little snack packs and lollypops.)
So, starting tomorrow morning, Baby Miss will say goodbye to her diapers and will wear underware all day long.
This is where it will get fun, I will have to watch her constantly and as soon as I see her starting to go, I have to run her to sit on the potty then reward her if anything goes into the potty.
All in all, I am excited for her yet sad at the same time, ha, ha, ha!!!
Feel free to comment below with any tips or tricks that have worked for you in the past!
And, don’t forget to come back tomorrow evening to see how my DAY 1 of Potty Training goes!

(Ha, ha, ha... I love this picture!)

One good tip you can try is sitting in there with her while she is on the potty and reading her books. My mom said this is what she did for me and she said I was potty trained at 9 months old. I really couldn’t believe it when she told me this. That is really young, lol.
