I have a sweet-tooth; I admit it! But having a sweet-tooth when trying to lose weight and be healthier does not allow for a ton of sweats… which is why I love the pocket-pack of Dollop Gourmet Cupcake Creations Ultimate Dude Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookie Dough Frosting Spread. Now, I know that is a mouthful to say and is definitely a yummy mouthful to consume, as well!
You may remember Heather, the owner of Dollop and a winner of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars; well she has created a way to have just a “dollop” of frosting. This is so cool; she took her award winning Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookie Dough frosting and put it in a squeezable tube, called Ultimate Dude Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookie Dough Frosting Spread. This new Frosting Spread allows us not to be afraid to Break Away From The Cake™.
We received a couple 0.5 oz. snack size pouches to try and we decided to use them as dips at snack time. Since my kiddo’s love apples we tried putting a “dollop” of the Frosting Spread on a cut up apple, but it slid off the slippery apple, so we used it as a dip. Let me tell you, it was super yummy! The creamy frosting tasted like peanut butter heaven on each apple bite and it was funny watching the kids rush to get the most frosting on each piece.
The next day, we tried the Frosting Spread with pretzels. This was also a big hit and the kids loved trying to scoop the frosting onto their skinny pretzels… note to self, next time get bigger pretzels.
I will say that I was a bit disappointed in the ease of the .5 oz. tube, as we could not get the frosting to come out of the tubes as “pretty” as I would have liked to. Since the frosting is thick, it seemed to clump out, rather than slide out, but that may be because I am not a baker and don’t know the tricks of the trade. The taste on the other-hand was not only mouth-watering goodness; it was a one-of-a-kind taste that had a hint of peanut butter and a hint of cookie dough that left me wanting more. My only wish was that I would have been able to try the 16 oz. Frosting Spread on actual cupcakes!
I love that the frosting is 100% homemade, made with real butter, real sugar, and real chocolate, by real people. The frosting spread is amazing on just about anything so it you can get creative on your own or you can check out dollopgourmet.com for ideas. If you are in the Rochester area, I advise that you stop by Dollop Gourmet Cupcake Creations and try out one of their premier gourmet cupcakes. If you are not in the Rochester area, you can place an online order of your choice of a 16 oz. pouch which frosts a dozen cupcakes from the spout or a 0.5 oz. pouch, perfect for snacking.

I would put frosting on cupcakes
We are addicted to this place that sells chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting, chocolate drizzle and a peanut butter cup on top. I’d try to recreate that at home with these frosting pouches.
My girls and I would probably put it on any fruit or veggie. My hubby would probably go as far as putting it on his doritos like he does his regular pb.
i would put it on crackers
