With Spring comes Easter and, of course, Spring photos. I don’t know about you, but Spring is always the time we get the kids more dressed up for Church and I am not sure if it is the beautiful weather but we all seem to have a skip in our steps! What I really LOVE about Spring are the shoes. The girls are really easy to shop for, but Little Man; not so much! I don’t know why, but he is ultra-picky about his shoes and considers himself very stylish. If the shoes aren’t what he considers ‘in-style’ he won’t wear them. This causes issues especially for nicer events, such as Church, Easter, and photos. We have gone back and forth many times about what shoes he will wear. That is why I jumped at the chance to try a pair of Florsheim Shoes for him.
I am not sure if you have heard of Florsheim Shoes but they have been around for pretty much forever! The first Florsheim Shoe Company opened in Chicago in 1892! Yes, you heard me correctly, I said 1892!!! Since then they have expanded from providing boots for soldiers in the Spanish/American War and World War I, to opening fourteen factories and 500 stores nationwide. And they now offer shoes for kids.

I was amazed at all they had to offer and know from their history that they only offer quality-made shoes.
Since Little Man is so picky I allowed him to make his choice and was very happy that he chose a pair of Kennett Jr. shoes. They are a stylish saddle shoe, featuring suede upper and smooth saddle with contrast stitching.
Our shoes arrived and Little Man immediately put them on and loved them. He said they were very comfortable and he was sure his friends would like them. It took a bit for me to talk him out of wearing the shoes to school the next day since I wanted these to be his ‘church shoes’ and I knew they would be perfect for our upcoming Spring Photos.
Now, I have to say; I know I am biased a bit, but my Little Man LOOKS GOOD!!!
All in all, we have been very happy with Little Man’s shoes. He asks to wear them all the time and they look great with whatever he wears, whether jeans or pants, he looks great!
