#BlogHer13 Day 3 Recap #StarbucksRewards #MomSelectSwagSuite #ZelfYourself #HasbroParty #SouthWalton

Can you believe everything that I have already accomplished in Day One and Day Two in Chicago, yet I haven’t even made it to the actual expo yet? Well, day three was just the same! It began with a morning filled with the aroma of Starbucks coffee as I was whisked away, by MomCentral on a private trolley to take a ride to Chicago’s own amazing multi-level Starbucks coffee shop. We were greeted by smiles and yummy pastries as we learned all about how to make the perfect cup of coffee!

I have worked with MomSelect many times and their Swag Suite is always full of amazing booths. This year I was able to connect with Britax, udi’s Gluten- Free, Sartori Cheeses, plus I was able to learn all about the cool color and educational apps from CosmoCamp! Plus, I left with some great swag!

The day was far from over, since I had a few hours to kill I took the private bus to check out the BlogHer Expo Hall. It was a bit of a hassle because it was so far away, but thankfully not having to search for transportation made it a bit easier. At the expo I was a bit shocked to find that it was much smaller this year than years past, but it was actually kind of cool because it gave me more opportunities to really talk to reps and I even won some swag from Walgreens and Best Buy! At the expo, I was able to dance with a Shark Vacuum and tweet or Instagram to enter to win different items.

Before I knew it, I had to rush out to get back to the hotel to pick my roommate up before heading out to get pampered at a Pamper Your-Zelf with the Zelfs event. What is a Zelf, you may ask? They are troll-like little dolls with bright fun hair!

2013-07-26 16.39.38This event took place at a cute salon called Blowtique we were pampered with a shampoo, head massage, and blow-out. It was so relaxing and just what we needed.

If you remember, I have featured Hasbro toys and games many times over the past year, so it was amazing to attend this event knowing I would finally meet one of my favorite PR Reps from Litzkey PR Firm.

At the event it was amazing to watch My Little Pony and Rescue Bots while waiting at the bar for a drink. Plus it was so much fun walking around playing games, such as Nerf games, board games, and one-on-one time with the new Furby! Oh and to make things even better I was able to get ‘My Little Ponyfied’ – meaning my hair was glitzed out with a bit of a color strand, then braided to look like a My Little Pony!

The evening was still not over as we made our way to the Sheraton Ballroom for the Visit South Walton White Beach Party! We were greeted by a beachy room filled with white linens and canapes. It was so much fun taking photos in the ‘beach booth’ that even had the sounds of the ocean.

Be sure to read all about my Day One and Day Two then come back to learn about day Four and Five!
