My Target Breakfast Twist… how would YOU twist things up?

I don’t know about you, but after thirty-some years of the same old breakfasts, life can get a bit boring… Don’t get me wrong, I love cereals and waffles, etc, but sometimes I just need to ‘twist’ things up a bit. This is why I was so excited to join in Targets Breakfast Twist opportunity. To help me with this, Target sent me a box full of goodies to get started.

Target Breakfast Twist ItemsThe things that really stood out to me was the Nature Valley Protein Crunchy Granola to add to yogurt, as well as JIF and Nutella, perfect to add a yummy twist to my morning toast.

Target Breakfast Twist Nature ValleyAdding the Nature Valley Protein Crunchy Granola to my Greek Yogurt added the crunch I needed to start my day. With a glass of flavored tea, I had the perfect twist to my everyday breakfast.

For days that I needed a little extra, I added a slice of rye toast with nutella and sliced a banana on top of my Greek Yogurt with Nature Valley Protein Crunchy Granola. Talk about tons of flavor, crunch with fruit and chocolate, my taste buds went wild.

Another twist on toast was adding not only nutella to one slice, but adding Jif Peanut Butter to another slice. The peanut butter added just the right amount of protein, while the hazelnut spread curbed my ‘sweets’ craving. Since breakfast is the perfect time to add a piece of fruit, a cut up banana is the perfect addition.
