We are a Disney family, all around. Between our love for Mickey and Minnie and of course all the Disney Princesses, we are true fans. You are sure to see us snuggling together every Friday evening for a Disney family movie night and will of course see the kids catching up on The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show in the mornings. With all of this being said, we were very excited to show our Disney Side by throwing a party in our home.

The invites went out to our friends and most everyone accepted 🙂 Soon the party planning began. Thanks to the amazing kit that was sent to us, we decided to have the kids decorate Hanes Tee Shirts and Disney cookies.

The morning of the party the girls helped me bake chocolate and streusel cupcakes. Then we used our Mickey cookie cutters to cut out Mickey Mouse cheese slices, as well as, cookies to decorate. When all of that was done, we dipped some strawberries in chocolate and cut up some fruit.

#DisneySide Cookies#DisneySide FoodThankfully Hubby was home to help set up the dining room with tons of fun balloons and Disney decorations.

#DisneySide PartyWhen the kids walked in it was so much fun watching their eyes get REALLY big, while giggles started erupting from everyone. Within moments everyone found a place at the table to begin decorating their Hanes T-Shirt.

#DisneySide Shirt Decorating 2I had found some cute stencils and put those out for the kids. It was awesome watching them use their imagination to stencil Angus the horse, the flower from Tangled, and even a robot as Wall-E! Of course there were many dinosaurs, monsters, and princesses, as well.

#DIsneySide Shirt DecoratingOnce everyone finished their shirts, we stopped for some yummy food, then went on to decorating some cookies.

#DisneySide Cookie Decorating #DisneySideThe best part of the day was the excitement of everyone working together while discussing all of our favorite Disney Movies. The crazy thing is that none of the kids had been to a Disney Theme Park yet, so I was more than happy to show everyone the Disney Planning Movie. All of us parents discussed the perfect ages to take our kids and the kids just had a blast calling out different characters they saw.

All in all, I know that I see my #DisneySide everywhere I look. From seeing the lanterns and star from Tangled hanging in our favorite restaurant, to just thinking of Ariel and Flounder when I see bubbly glass that looks like the ocean.

Do you have a Disney Side??? Comment below letting me know 🙂
