The steps to get healthy are not always simple to remember. Believe me; I have been on this road for over two years and I still have to remind myself of these 5 base steps every single day.

Step 1 – Strive for 65! Drink at least 65 oz. of water each day –

Step 2 – Never skip breakfast -Have a stash of snacks at work so you can pass on the candy dish (apples, nuts, fruit, granola bars, popcorn are all good).

Step 3 – Preparation is key -Fresh is best!

Step 4 – Schedule your workout time. If it’s on the calender it will get done. It has to be as important as your children’s soccer practice.

Step 5 – Eat often…try eating every two to three hours – the trick here is eating the right foods.
