Imagine getting Married at First Sight; watch the social experiment unfold on the new FYI Network

Okay, so I just heard that there is a new network coming out called FYI and this new “one stop shop” network for all lifestyle programming, will be airing a new series called  Married at First Sight on Tuesday, July 8th at 9p ET/10p PT! This sounds like something that is totally new, as the show is an extreme social experiment following six brave souls who are yearning for a life-long partnership as they agree to a provocative proposal: getting legally married at first sight, aka, the moment they first meet.

Can you imagine? I mean, the first time I met Hubby I couldn’t stand him, ha!!! We totally did not get along and it wasn’t until we ended up running into each other many, many, many times over about a year that we realized that something was pushing us together! HA!  I am not sure how things would have turned out if we got married at first sight!

Anyways, in this new show or ‘social experiment’ four specialists- a sexologist, spiritualist, psychologist, and sociologist- will create what they believe are three perfect couples, based on scientific matchmaking. The couples will never meet or know each other until they walk down the aisle and see each other face to face, for the first time, when they get married. Each episode of “Married at First Sight” will follow the classic lifestyle stories of newlyweds- from the honeymoon to early nesting to other relatable events of married life. After several weeks together, each couple must make a decision: do they remain together or decide to separate?

So, what did you think? Interesting, yes??? Ha!!!

Between you and me, I am unsure of how these couples will turn out, but I think I would be interested in watching…just to find out, hee, hee!
