Perfect time of year for quick and easy homemade quality chili

It is that time of year again. The time when the weather can go from a bit chili to hot in no time. What that means is that when we wake in the morning, here in Texas, it could be as low as 60 then by the evening it could be in the 80’s… Or it could be hot all morning, then rainy and cool in the evenings. This to me is perfect chili weather. But between school, activities, and carpooling, I don’t seem to have the time to really make home-made chili. But that is not a problem anymore, since we have fallen in love with quick and easy homemade quality chili from Progresso™!

Chili time of yearThis homemade quality chili comes in a pouch and is super-easy to prepare. You can choose two flavorful choices:

  • Smokehouse Pork and Beef Chili with Beans: A spin on a homemade classic includes Andouille sausage, beef, and a secret blend of spices, all slow-cooked with tomatoes, onions, green sweet peppers and pinto and red kidney beans
  • Southwest Style White Chicken Chili with Beans: A creamy blend of all-white meat chicken, white beans, green sweet peppers, tomatillos and onions

Just throw it in a pot on the stove or even microwave it.

ready for some chiliI love that you can see real chunks of chicken and tons of beans and spices.

Chili full of flavorIt warms up in no time and is delicious. Even my Mother-in-Law who is very picky about her chili loves it. We both agree that the seasoning is perfect and no salt or pepper is needed. Chili barSo, if you are looking for a quick and easy homemade quality chili but don’t have the time to make it from scratch, I would suggest checking out Progresso Chili, available in the soup aisle.
