Do you ever have one of those days that just seems to drag? You run from here to there and just don’t want to even think about firing up the stove? Well, I admit that those days happen more than I like to admit. HA! The thing is that on those days, I don’t want to just go pick up something not-so-healthy, I just want to grab the family, sit down and enjoy a meal without breaking the bank. Well, this is where Joe’s Crab Shack helped for a bit… you see, they had this great Family Happiness Hour Menu, Monday-Thursdays from 4-8PM. (Unfortunately this deal has ended, but the food and prices are still great!)
We stopped in just the other night to check it out and it was such a great night. Two of the kids had their yearly physical’s that day and I had run all over town to appointments. By the time dinner came around, I was just exhausted. But, the moment we walked into Joe’s I knew we had made the right choice.
I was able to sit down and actually talk to Hubby and the kids without worrying about cooking and the kids got to get rid of some energy playing on the playground outside.
Two of the kids chose the popcorn shrimp from the Family Happiness Hour Menu for only $4.99 each and I Hubby chose the $10.99 Crispy Shrimp. Meanwhile, I was craving some crab legs, so I went with the Steamed Queen Crab which was a bit more, but still came with all the fixins’ from the Family Happiness Hour.
My plate came and I was super-excited. WOW, it was a lot of food. I mean, one pound of Queen Crab Legs, as well as, green beans, fries, onion strings, cole slaw, and Hush Puppies. Ha! Meanwhile the kids were super-excited about their Popcorn Shrimp.
So, next time you are at a loss of what to do for dinner, why not swing into Joe’s Crab Shack and sit back, relax, and enjoy some great food!
