Eat at SUBWAY® restaurants to help a cause, like the San Antonio Food Bank #youshareweshare

Have you heard how many families here in San Antonio are struggling to eat. When we first moved here, we had nothing to our name. I mean, Hubby lost his job while we were living in WVA, and we pretty much lived through our savings while he searched for something new. It wasn’t until we had almost nothing left, with a soon-to-be two-year-old son and a new baby on the way that we packed up and moved here to San Antonio to move in with my Father-in-law. He took it upon himself to help us out, but he didn’t have the funds to help us through this time. This is when the San Antonio Food Bank helped. Because of the donations made to the San Antonio Food Bank we were able to put food on our table when we needed it most.

Now that we are back on our feet, we constantly do what we can to help in return. We always buy extra, when possible, to donate and keep our eyes opened for new ways to help. This is why I am so excited about how SUBWAY® restaurants have taken a stand to help charities, such as the San Antonio Food bank.

You see,  SUBWAY® restaurants located in USA & Canada are joining forces with several charities to give back to the local community. From now through August 31st, more than 1,200 local SUBWAY® restaurants are participating in the “You Share. We Share.” campaign to help support different charities.

It is super-simple, the “You Share. We Share” campaign encourages the community to get out and share their weekends with SUBWAY® restaurants, and SUBWAY® will share right back by donating a percentage of weekend sales, up to $100,000, directly to a local charity in need. As locally owned and operated franchises, SUBWAY® is excited to be able to further its commitment to the local community.
