ThinkFun Games

There is one thing I love about our family and it is that we love family games. Games that get us all around a table and playing together, means we are making memories to last a lifetime. Add on that playing ThinkFun games encourages thinking and learning and we have a winner.

This holiday season, ThinkFun sent us two games to check out;  RushHour Shift & Laser Maze Jr! Now, we already own Laser Maze, but it can be a bit tough on the younger ones, so I LOVE that they have come out with a Jr. version. The way this game works is that you place a challenge sheet in the game base using the pieces it says to use. Then you have to move the pieces around to get the laser beam to shine where you want it to go. This game uses logic, mirrors, and laughs to get to where you need to go.

Meanwhile, RushHour Shift is a two-person strategy game that presses you to move fast to get to where you want to go before the game shifts or your opponent blocks you. The options and learning in this logic game are endless.

  1. I think Laser Maze looks like a ton of fun. I think the family and I could have a ton of fun with it.

  2. I love games that encourage learning in kids. Rush Hour Shift looks like a really good one.
