Sick Days Don’t Have to be Miserable with Pfizer, Fox, and Target

This post has been sponsored by Pfizer Consumer Healthcare and 20th Century Fox. All thoughts and reviews are my own.

Sick days may mean lost wages or an angry boss if you’re an adult, but when you’re a kid, they mean an excuse to do what you love. Think about it. When you were a kid, you were almost happy to get sick, weren’t you? Well, I was, especially during the school year – stay in school, kids. Being sick meant staying home and playing video games or watching movies. No matter how terrible I felt, that made up for it.

These days, kids have it so much easier. When they stay home sick, they can do what they love without being miserable thanks to Pfizer. These kids. They don’t know the struggle, and it seems they never will… šŸ˜‰Sick days sick just got real

Sick Days are Super for My Kids

I remember the days of staying home sick. I would get in my Mama’s bed and we would watch game shows all day long. She would bring me hot soup and I would doze in and out waking peridoically with her holding me. Now, as a mom, I want my kids to feel that same love and attention when they are sick and I want them to get better fast. That being said, I also want them to enjoy their down time as much as possible, I mean, hey, they’re sick anyway, right? They might as well enjoy it. Take Little Man, for example.

Super Sick Days with RobitussinĀ®

Little Man got sick recently, and my poor guy was too sick to even play his video games (that’s sick, ya’ll). Ā As soon as I saw that he was too sick to enjoy his games, I immediately knew it was time to get some medicine in him. I used a one/two punch for him – Children’s RobitussinĀ® DM Day/Night Pack, which features Children’s RobitussinĀ® Cough & Chest Congestion and Children’s RobitussinĀ® Nighttime Cough for ages 6 and over.sick days without video games

The cough and chest congestion formula is non-drowsy and breaks up chest congestion to help Little Man feel as good as he can so he can enjoy his sick days (as much as possible, anyway) while the nighttime cough formula relieves his cough and runny nose and helps him get better sleep.sick days with robitussin

Super Sick Days with a Good Movie

So after Little Man was set up with RobitussinĀ® to get his symptoms under control, I put on his favorite movie – The Sandlot. He loves baseball, and I think he’s seen the movie literally a hundred times. it’s about Scotty Smalls, a shy kid who makes friends with a rowdy pickup baseball team when he and his family move to a new town.smile on a sick day

Sick Days are Better with Pfizer, a Good Movie, and Target

When sick gets real, you have to quash it immediately. When sick days come along, I want my kids to enjoy them as much as they can be enjoyed. They’re stuck with them anyway, after all. So I reach for Children’s RobitussinĀ® DM Day/Night Pack and a good movie. And I can find it all at Target.

Pfizer and 20th Century Fox

At Target, I can get everything I need for my kids sick days, including Pfizer’s complete line of children’s medications and some great 2oth Century Fox DVDs. Children’s AdvilĀ®, Children’s RobitussinĀ® DM Day/Night Pack, and Children’s DimetappĀ® Cold & Cough help kids feel better fast. And great 20th Century Fox DVDs like Ice Age Collision Course, The Peanuts Movie, and the Sandlot help kids enjoy those sick days until they’re all well again. Making
